What is a Dataset?

A dataset in OpenDMP PortAberta is an editor with pre-existing questions that help define a format for how information will be stored, managed, and curated throughout the research lifecycle. This editor offers a series of pre-existing dataset models, each with different sets of predefined questions according to the requirements of funding agencies, institutions, and research data management policies. Researchers and students can choose the model that best suits their needs. A DMP may include one or more datasets.
