OpenDMP PortAberta has two main features: DMPs and Datasets. It can be used to:
A. View/consult public DMPs and datasets or projects associated with DMPs
B. Create and publish a DMP
OpenDMP PortAberta helps researchers to comply with requirements related to funding proposals or projects by selecting the most suitable model from the dataset collection, just by answering the corresponding questions. A DOI can be assigned to the DMP, allowing it to be published and cited in academic works.
C. Practice writing DMPs and dataset descriptions
The process of creating a Data Management Plan reflects the data lifecycle, so the tool can be used in global Research Data Management training.
