The deposit of documents in RepositóriUM, given its institutional nature, is a function exclusively restricted to members of the University of Minho (Faculty, researchers, fellowship holders, or other collaborators designated for this purpose by their respective communities).
Deposits must be made through a community (organic unit) to which they are affiliated. Exceptionally, UMinho members who belong to units not yet present in RepositóriUM may deposit documents in suitable collections, created specifically for this purpose within the community: University of Minho Library (BUM).
Important Notes:
- If you have not yet done so, before you can deposit any document in RepositóriUM, you must pre-register in the system. Only after this initial contact with the platform can deposit permissions be granted.
- Some RepositóriUM communities and collections have specific workflows (their own criteria or authorizations), so the acceptance of deposits may not be immediate.
- If you do not have authorization to deposit documents in a specific community/collection, you should contact us or the community/communities' managers for prior clarification.
