The University of Minho libraries offer laptops for loan. These laptops are for use exclusively within the library premises. Therefore, laptops cannot be taken home (no off-site loans).
This service is exclusively for UMinho students, faculty, researchers, and staff.
Online laptop reservation requires users to have a valid registration with the University of Minho libraries.
Laptops are loaned for a maximum period of 4 hours (or until 30 minutes before the library closes).
The equipment must be picked up at the service desk.
Reservation confirmation (check-in) must be completed at the scheduled time or within the following 15 minutes.
Laptops must be returned to the service desk at the end of the loan period.
