You can request a renewal up to the last day of the loan period, and up to a limit of 6 renewals, in one of the following ways:
- In person, at the service desk of one of the University of Minho libraries;
- By phone, calling one of the University of Minho libraries;
- Online, by accessing the catalog and logging into Personal Area (option available in the top right corner of the page) with your user number and password. Consult the catalog guide.
- By email to bibliotecas@usdb.uminho.pt, during library opening hours.
Users lose the right to renew if the return deadline is passed [or: if the item is overdue], if the library needs the publication in question to fulfill other requests, or if the maximum limit of 6 consecutive renewals has been reached.
We suggest that renewal requests be made during library opening hours.
From 8:00 PM until midnight (20:00 to 24:00), you should use one of the
