You can request the reservation of a publication that is currently on loan.
Reservation requests can only be made for publications that are on home loan
(except for publications with Long-Term status) and when no additional copies
are available.
Reservations
can be made:
- In person, at the service desk of one of the University of Minho libraries;
- By phone, by contacting one of the University of Minho libraries;
- Online, by accessing the catalog and logging into your Personal Area (option available at the top right corner of the page) with your user number and password. Please refer to the catalog guide.
- By email, by sending a request to mailto:bibliotecas@usdb.uminho.pt.

If the publication(s) already have one or more reservation requests, you
will be placed on a waiting list.
Each user can reserve up to three publications at the same time.
As soon as the publication(s) become available, a notification will be sent to
your institutional email address (or to the email address on record for
external users) informing you that the reservation is ready for pickup.
Reservation requests remain valid until 11:50 PM of the next working day after
the reservation becomes available at the selected library for pickup.
