Any type of document, in any format, can be deposited in RepositóriUM, provided it meets the following basic conditions:
- It must be produced by a member (author or co-author) of the University of Minho (i.e., they must have been affiliated with UMinho or one of its research centers at the time of the work's publication/presentation).
- It must result from research, development, or teaching activities (academic outputs may include, but are not limited to: peer-reviewed articles, pre-prints, conference papers, books and book chapters, working papers, etc.).
- It must not be ephemeral (deposits are considered permanent contributions to RepositóriUM).
- It must be in digital format.
- It must be complete (full text) and ready for public dissemination.
The author must be able and willing to grant the University of Minho the non-exclusive right to preserve and provide access to their work through RepositóriUM.
